Casa do Mao is located in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra, classified as a Unesco Biosphere Reserve, at the confluence of the Mao and Sil rivers. We welcome you all year to its natural verdant setting.
Its privileged location gives travellers access to walks under holm oaks and hundred-year-old chestnut trees, the Mao River footbridges on the PR-G 177 hiking trail and to various beautiful bathing spots in the Sil cañon.
Casa do Mao is located in Barxacova, a small village halfway between Parada do Sil and Castro Caldelas.
